Plant Manager
As a Plant Manager you will be involved in building up the new logistics site from scratch. liaising both with the board and the logistics management with regard to the set-up of the logistics center
- Responsibility of the entire plant strategically and operationally, managing 20 Operations Manager directly and 500+ workers indirectly
- Continuous Improvement in the logistics center
- Budget responsibility
- Development of the plant, adjustment to new products
- Creation and implementation of KPIs
- Management, motivation and promotion of employees
- Looking after health and safety along with HR
Your profile:
- University degree in Engineering, Logistics or Business Administration
- Many years experience in the area of logistics, ideally in the industry, retail or logistics services
- Managerial experience
- Very good social skills as well as the ability of motivating people
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Responsible, self-confident, assertive personality that can work under pressure
- Analytical skills, ability to deal with complex issues in a pragmatic way
- Experience in Continuous Improvement of processes, ideally with strong lean management skills
- Experience in the development and implementation of supply chain processes
- Very good English, fluent German
- Good IT skills - excel and regarding supply chain optimization
