Senior Lean Manufacturing Consultant
Help clients align their manufacturing strategy with their overall business strategy and by architecting and executing impactful, sustainable, and scalable manufacturing transformations.
Transforming operational performance by addressing the operating system, the management infrastructure, and the employee`s mindset, capabilities, and behaviour. Tailoring a solution to the client`s needs by using the Lean Manufacturing improvement program.
Work alongside the client at every level from senior management to the shop floor during implementation. Client mentoring and capability building in order to sustain the implemented changes.
Improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and advise on suitable maintenance strategies to increase availability and reliability.
Help companies improve return on invested capital (ROIC) through reduced cost, increased efficiency, and enhanced growth opportunities available through plant configuration. Advise on decisions such as outsourcing or aggregating commodity manufacturing, moving productive capacity offshore, and forming strategic alliances and joint ventures.
Key criteria:
- 3-7 years professional experience, either in the industry or in consultancy
- Deep experience in operations systems improvement tools such as the Toyota Production System, Kanban, Kaizan, SMED, 5S JIT, TPM, Poka Yoke.
- Excellent academic record - You possess superior analytical and conceptual skills, creativity, inititative, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent German and fluent English
- Qualities beyond intellect: good communication skills, a thirst for learning, a vigorous enjoyment of new challenges, personal impact, motivation and tenacity to make things happen, and the desire to excel at the highest level.
