Global Strategic Purchasing Manager
- Supervision of the global C-Materials Procurement team
- Negotiate beneficial contracts for raw material supplies to all locations across Europe
- Develop new strategies in C-Material / raw material sourcing
- Monitor the market ongoingly, collect data, comprehend key market drivers
Profile:
- Bachelor and Master degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Business
- Six to ten years of strategic purchasing experience, ideally in the chemical or related industry.
- Conceptual approach and business acumen
- Ability to see and understand the whole pictureStrong problem solving and negotiation skillsFluent in German and fluent in English
- Ideally experience in process excellence methodologies such as Six Sigma/Lean Management
- Project Management experience and excellent leadership skills
- Very good communications skills
- Great ability to build rapports and networks within the organization and with suppliers
- Ability to think and act on a global level, international attitude
