• Supervision of the global C-Materials Procurement team
• Negotiate beneficial contracts for raw material supplies to all locations across Europe
• Develop new strategies in C-Material / raw material sourcing
• Monitor the market ongoingly, collect data, comprehend key market drivers

Profile:

• Bachelor and Master degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Business
• Six to ten years of strategic purchasing experience, ideally in the chemical or related industry.
• Conceptual approach and business acumen
• Ability to see and understand the whole pictureStrong problem solving and negotiation skillsFluent in German and fluent in English
• Ideally experience in process excellence methodologies such as Six Sigma/Lean Management
• Project Management experience and excellent leadership skills
• Very good communications skills
• Great ability to build rapports and networks within the organization and with suppliers
• Ability to think and act on a global level, international attitude
